Start with the customer’s question
A campaign brief is easier to use when it names a real question: What does this cost? Is it near me? What makes this different? Choose one question for each creative idea, then give the audience enough context to understand your offer.
Plan different creative angles
For a local business, you might introduce the service, show the experience and answer a common question. These are different ideas to explore, not a promise that any one format will perform best. Keep the offer and business information consistent as you vary the message.
Design for the destination
Decide whether the next step is a website visit, an enquiry or a conversation. The ad should prepare people for that step. Tell them what they can expect and make sure your team has a clear process for responding.
Keep a learning log
Write down what each variation is intended to test. Review the creative together with the quality of the response and the follow-up experience. Keep useful lessons, then use them to shape the next brief.
